A Wall of Happy Houses

A wall of happy houses is just along the street
Full of every color for the birds who like to sing tweet tweet!
 
The colors make a rainbow of yellow, blue and green
Orange bright and violet and pinks of shiny sheen!
 
This neighborhood’s for winged ones, for finches red and blue
Who play and fly and sing all day: “Tra Lee, Tra Lah, Tra Loo!”
 
They never seem to argue or get into a fight
They’re much too busy singing and playing in the light!

 
​​Streets of Happy Houses abound for people too
San Francisco, Italy, Bulgaria and Peru! 
The people here all celebrate their creativity
A place for all to work and play in community.
 
It’s kind of like our planet earth with our humanity
All kinds of people paint it with diversity.
 
I wonder what it would be like
With color everywhere?
Perhaps like birdies we would sing
And play without a care!
 
So put a little color splash
On your home today
You just might make a neighbor smile
Inviting them to play!
 
​And then the wall of houses sweet
Would grow around the world
To streets and shops and neighborhoods
For every boy and girl.
